Gerald S. Robinson
Robinson is managing partner of Robinson & Geraldo, a law firm he founded with Manuel R. Geraldo. The firm has offices in Harrisburg and Washington, D.C. Robinson, who has practiced law for over 30 years, concentrates his efforts in business development, though his firm handles cases involving most aspects of the law.
He is a graduate of Howard University and Howard University School of Law, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Dauphin and Lancaster County Bar Associations. He has been admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia and has made court appearances in Washington, D.C., and in 13 county courts in Pennsylvania.
He has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit civic, cultural, education and other organizations including The Urban League of Lancaster County, The National Urban League, local and statewide March of Dimes, Southeast Lancaster Health Services, Heinz Menaker Senior Center of Harrisburg, NAACP of Greater Harrisburg, African-American Chamber of Commerce of Central PA, Gretna Theater, Four Diamonds Fund Advisory Board, Allied Arts Fund, Harrisburg Community and Economic Affairs, The Academy of Medical Arts and Business, Millersburg University Board of Trustees, Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates and American Red Cross of the Keystone Region.
He and his wife Yvette, who works as a change-management consultant in Washington, D.C., have lived in Lancaster for more than 25 years. They have two adult children; Tiffany, who is an associate with Robinson’s law firm, and Robbie, a recent graduate of University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Their church home is Bethel AME Church in Lancaster.
Robinson was confirmed for a second five-year term on Oct. 6, 2014. His term will expire Oct. 6, 2019.
